Current Situation
Cooler temperatures overnight have moderated fire behavior. On-shore winds and the return of the marine layer will bring decreased fire behavior. As repopulation of evacuees occur, the public is reminded to stay vigilant to change in weather and fire conditions. Please drive slowly as emergency crews and equipment are working throughout the fire area. Damage inspection is still taking place; damage assessment is currently at 25%. As assessments continue, the number of structures damaged and destroyed will continue to fluctuate.
