The Saddle Fire is currently being managed by a Type 3 Incident Management Team, transitioning to a Type 2 IMT Friday, June 12. The fire made uphill runs yesterday afternoon towards South Fork Ridge during the peak burning period, but held in place last night. Additional crews are in place this morning. The main objectives for today include continuing structure defense on the northwest and west side of Hyampom and dividing the fire perimeter into divisions. Fire crews will also continue with fire line construction.
